How Our Drain Cleaning Works

1

Diagnose the Clog

We find where and why it’s clogged — and for tough or repeat clogs, we can run a sewer camera so you see exactly what’s going on.

2

Clear It the Right Way

We use the right method for the job — from professional drain machines to hydro-jetting for heavy buildup — not a chemical that eats your pipes.

3

Confirm & Advise

We make sure it’s flowing freely, give you the price up front, and let you know if anything (like aging pipes) needs attention.

Drain Cleaning — Frequently Asked Questions

How much does drain cleaning cost in Orlando?
It depends on the drain and how severe the clog is — a simple sink, tub, or shower clog is at the low end, while a main sewer line or hydro jetting costs more. Right now we’re running a drain-clearing special at $49.95 (regularly $89). Whatever the job, we diagnose first and give you the exact price in writing before any work begins, so there are never surprises.
How much does hydro jetting cost?
Hydro jetting costs more than a standard drain cabling because it uses specialized high-pressure equipment. The exact price depends on the size of the line, how much grease, scale, or root intrusion is in it, and whether we run a camera first. We inspect the line, explain what it needs, and quote a firm price up front before we start.
How much does a sewer camera inspection cost — and is it worth it?
A sewer camera inspection is one of the smartest steps for a recurring or serious clog: instead of guessing, you see exactly what’s wrong — grease, a collapsed pipe, or tree roots — before you pay to fix it. It’s especially worth it before buying a home or after repeat backups. Call us for current pricing and we’ll tell you up front.
What causes a slow drain?
Most slow drains come from buildup inside the pipe — grease and food in a kitchen sink, hair and soap in a bathroom sink, tub, or shower, and mineral scale in older pipes. If more than one fixture is draining slowly at the same time, the clog is usually deeper in your main line. A professional cleaning clears the cause, not just the surface, so it stays clear longer.
Will hydro jetting damage my pipes?
In sound pipes, no — hydro jetting is safe for most modern plumbing and is one of the most thorough ways to clear grease, scale, and tree roots. On very old or already-cracked pipes, such as aging cast iron, we run a camera first to check the pipe’s condition and choose the right method, so we clear the clog without causing damage.
Will a clogged drain clear itself?
Usually not. A slow or clogged drain almost never fixes itself — the buildup causing it keeps growing, and a gurgling or bad-smelling drain is a sign it’s getting worse. Clearing it early is cheaper and helps prevent a backup, so it’s best to call at the first sign of a slow or smelly drain.
Do you clear AC drain lines too?
Yes. A clogged AC condensate drain line can shut your system down or cause water damage — and because Our Place handles both plumbing and HVAC, we clear those as well. Ask us about it or see our full list of services.
Do you offer same-day and emergency drain service?
Yes. We offer same-day service across Orlando and Central Florida, and our emergency line runs 24/7 — with no extra charge for nights, weekends, or holidays.
Can you clear a main sewer line clog?
Yes. If multiple fixtures are backing up at once, it’s usually a main-line clog. We clear main lines and can run a sewer camera to show you the cause and confirm it’s clear.
Do you use hydro jetting?
When a clog calls for it, yes. Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to scour heavy grease and buildup from the pipe walls — ideal for recurring clogs and main lines.
Should I use store-bought drain cleaner first?
We don’t recommend it. Chemical drain cleaners often don’t fully clear the clog and can damage older pipes over time. A professional clearing is safer and lasts longer.
What areas do you serve?
All of Central Florida — Orlando, Kissimmee, Winter Park, Lake Nona, Ocala, The Villages, Hudson, and surrounding communities.
